The scoring season is well underway with early yellow rust data being collected followed by heading date scores.
Interestingly our field which didn’t receive a T0 fungicide is four days ahead of the field which did.
The septoria is also present although not at levels worth scoring just yet.
Our nitrogen use efficiency trial is providing really useful data – we are looking at everything we can such as nitrogen uptake, biomass accumulation, tillering and ultimately yield plus grain protein.
This time of year is always very busy but also so full of interesting data and great looking plots!
