Managing Director
The Role
DSV UK is a dynamically growing company with a broad and innovative portfolio, strong market ambitions and its own breeding programmes based in the UK. As we continue to expand our presence and strengthen our position in the UK market, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Managing Director to lead the next phase of our growth.
As Managing Director, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic, commercial and operational development of DSV UK. You will combine a strong understanding of the agribusiness sector with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to turn market opportunities into sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the UK business strategy, aligned with DSV’s overall objectives and growth ambitions.
- Take full responsibility for the commercial performance and sustainable growth of DSV UK.
- Identify new market opportunities, develop customer relationships and strengthen DSV’s position across the UK agricultural sector.
- Lead and further develop our sales organisation, driving a strong customer and market focus.
- Build, lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering an entrepreneurial, collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Strengthen relationships with farmers, distributors, industry partners and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure close collaboration between commercial activities, breeding, product development and the wider DSV organisation.
- Represent DSV UK externally and act as a strong ambassador for the company and its values.

The Person
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a managing director, general management or comparable senior commercial role.
- Strong sales and business development capabilities, with a track record of identifying opportunities and delivering growth.
- Professional experience in agribusiness, preferably with a strong understanding of the agricultural supply chain, seeds, breeding or related markets.
- The ability to lead, inspire and develop teams, creating clarity, accountability and motivation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- The confidence to make decisions, take ownership and translate strategy into action.
- A high level of integrity, energy and commitment to building a successful business.
