Crazy CR (CL) sets a new benchmark in hybrid oilseed rape, delivering the joint highest Gross Output and Seed Yield on the AHDB Descriptive List for spring oilseed rape with an impressive score of 103. Crazy CR (CL) has a high oil content 43.5 %; it has a similar height to all of the other spring rapes on the list, with a score of [7] and has a score of 7 for flowering. It has a 5 for maturity, which puts it in good standing for an early  harvest. Crazy CL has performed well in the trial from 2023 to 2025. As the first variety in the UK to combine clubroot protection with Clearfield® herbicide tolerance, it offers a unique dual solution for growers battling clubroot and brassica weed pressure or either. This groundbreaking variety ensures strong performance where it’s needed most, offering not only robust agronomic traits but also a powerful tool for spring weed control in Clearfield® cropping systems.
