DAYMON is a new high-performance hybrid from DSV UK, combining excellent standing ability with consistently high yields. It features Dual Phoma Resistance, including the valuable RLM7 + RLMS package, an increasingly important trait as reliance on RLM7 alone becomes less effective against evolving disease pressure.
The variety also offers Pod Shatter Resistance, providing growers with greater confidence during the pre-harvest period, particularly when crops are exposed to storms or hail.
With a High Oil Content of 46.5%, DAYMON delivers strong market appeal and the potential for enhanced returns through oil bonuses. It performs particularly well in northern regions, where it has demonstrated excellent yield consistency.
DAYMON has a robust disease resistance profi le, including ratings of 8 for Light Leaf Spot and 8 for Stem Canker, alongside strong resistance to Verticillium Wilt.
