New DSV Dompteur is the highest yielding OSR variety in four year-results in the final AHDB harvest results for 2025, DSV Cognac tops the one year results and DSV Cromputer CR is the highest yielding clubroot option.

With results now in from all 11 AHDB sites, DSV Dompteur's average four-year yield is 107% of controls, DSV Cognac's one year yield is 109% and DSV Cromputer CRs is 99%, explains the company's Sarah Hawthorne

"These are exceptional results for all our headline varieties and clearly show the strength of DSV genetics now and into the future.

"DSV Dompteur is the second variety after DSV Cognac to feature our new phoma blocker trait combining two complex phoma resistance genes, RLMS and RLM7, to provide plants with added protection against a variety of phoma strains.

"As with the rest of the DSV portfolio, Dompteur features strong turnip yellow virus (TuYV) protection and also has pod shatter resistance for added harvest protection.

"On the current candidate list, DSV Dompteur has a gross output of 111% of controls for the UK rising to 112% in the North and an oil content of 46.3%.

"It also scores an 8 for light leaf spot resistance and has scored well in verticillium wilt trials across Europe.

"DSV Dompteur also has strong autumn growth and excellent spring vigour which helps it recover from potential late attacks by various pests, including pigeons."

Outstanding one-year results
Sitting at the top of the one-year results for 2025, candidate listed DSV Cognac has reached yields 114% of controls in some parts of the country, Sarah Hawthorne adds.

"Being phoma blocker variety, DSV Cognac has exceptional phoma performance together with verticillium wilt tolerance and TUYV resistance alongside high yield and oil content.

"Candidate listed DSV Cognac combines the LepR1 and RLM7 phoma resistance genes to provide fully integrated resistance, she explains.

"As well as this exceptional phoma performance, DSV Cognac adds verticillium wilt tolerance and TUYV resistance alongside high yield and oil content.

"LIke DSV Dompteur, it also features powerful autumn growth and high spring vigour to defend against adult flea beetles and larvae with strong pods and pod shatter resistance giving growers confidence in its performance even during challenging years."

Highest yielding Clubroot variety
DSV Cromputer is the joint highest yielding clubroot protected variety in the latest 2025 AHDB harvest results delivering a yield 99% of controls in the one-year results with DSV Crocodile not too far behind at 96%.

"These are very strong showings proving that if you choose to grow a clubroot protected variety you no longer have to suffer the yield drop usually associated with such a choice," explains DSV's Sarah Hawthorne

"RL-listed DSV Cromputer is the latest in our long line of clubroot varieties helping to bridge the gap between club protected and normal varieties and in many cases is outyielding them.

"It's a high vigour variety which is fast to establish and produces tall plants with a compact canopy, which is combined with TuYV protection and improved stem canker resistance.

"Later flowering than its competitors, DSV Cromputer offers growers the ability to split the work load with spring sprays and lower risk the risk from frost damage.

"Strong yielding with a gross output of 98% for the UK rising to 99% for the East/West region, the variety also scores well for oil content at 45.5%, with a 6 for Light Leaf Spot, a 5 for Stem Canker and 'moderate' verticillium Wilt resistance.

"DSV Crocodile is recommended or the East/West region where it has a yield 97% of controls on the RL, making it another strong DSV clubroot contender."
