Harvest Photo Competition 2026

Got a great harvest photo featuring a DSV variety? Share it on Instagram, tag @dsvukseeds, and you could win a YETI Mug!

Competition Period 
The competition opens on Friday 24th July 2026 and closes on Friday 25th September 2026. 
Entries will be judged monthly, with one winner selected in July, August and September 2026. The winner for each month will be announced on the last day of the month.  

How to enter  

  • Take a harvest photograph featuring DSV crop varieties.  
  • Post the photograph on Instagram.
  • Tag the official DSV UK Instagram account (@dsvukseeds)
  • Multiple entries are permitted, provided each photograph is different
  • Write the variety name in the caption 

Eligibility 

  • Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.  
  • Employees of DSV UK Ltd are not eligible to enter.  

Entry Requirements 
Entries must: 

  • be the entrant's original photograph
  • feature DSV varieties in the field 
  • not contain offensive, defamatory or unlawful material  
  • not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • have the permission of any identifiable individuals appearing in the photograph
  • have the permission of the landowner where required.  

DSV reserves the right to remove or disqualify entries that do not comply

Judging 
Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by DSV based on: 

  • creativity
  • photographic quality
  • originality
  • relevance to the competition theme

Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Prize 
One winner will be selected each month and will receive: One YETI Mug. 
The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. 
DSV reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary. 

Winner Notification 
Winners will be contacted via Instagram within 7 days of judging. 
If a winner does not respond within 14 days, DSV reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

 Publicity 
By entering, winners agree that DSV may publish their name (or social media username), winning photograph and general location (county only) for the purposes of announcing the competition results. 

Copyright & Licence 
By entering, entrants grant DSV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and share the submitted photographs for promotional, marketing and editorial purposes across print, digital, social media and websites without additional payment. 
Where reasonably practicable, DSV will credit the photographer.

 Data Protection 
Personal information will only be used for administering the competition and distributing prizes. 
Data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and DSV's Privacy Policy.

DSV accepts no responsibility for: 

  • lost, delayed or incomplete entries 
  • technical failures affecting entry
  • entries not successfully received due to network or platform issues.

DSV reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
