Pumpkin Carving Competition Rules
1. Eligibility - The competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom.
2. Entry Fee - There is no entry fee to participate in this competition
3. How to Enter - Entrants must like/follow any of the DSV UK social media pages to enter. Entries can be submitted via email (skye.gilmour@dsv-uk.co.uk) or by posting a picture and tagging us on social media.
4. Entry Limit - Only one entry per person.
5. Closing date – the competition closes at 12:00 pm on be Monday the 3rd of November 2025 at 12 PM. No Entries will be accepted after this time.
6. Responsibility for Entries – DSV UK will not accept any responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
7. Judging Criteria – winners will be the three entrants who submit the most creative pumpkin carvings, determined by the DSV UK judging panel.
8. Prizes - The three winners will receive a farm-themed arts and crafts item and a selection of Halloween sweets.
9. No cash alternative - The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
10. Prize Substitution - Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
11. Winner notification - The three winners will be notified by email or direct message via social media shortly after the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
12. Prize Collection/Delivery - DSV UK will notify the winners when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
13. Final Decision - DSV UK’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Personal data - By entering this competition, participants agree to the collection and processing of their personal data by DSV United Kingdom Limited for the purposes of administering the competition, including contacting winners and distributing prizes. The personal data collected may include your name, contact details, and any other information you voluntarily submit as part of your entry (e.g., photos or social media handles). This data will be processed lawfully under Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR (contractual necessity).
